چکیده
1. Basic facts from the spectral theory of magnetic quantum Hamilto-nians (Schrödinger, Pauli, and Dirac operators with magnetic fields): self-adjointness, gauge invariance, diamagnetic inequality, Aharonov-Casher theorem [1, 7]. Constant magnetic fields [1]. 2. Berezin-Toeplitz operators and pseudodifferential operators with con-4. Resonances for the 3D Schrödinger operator with constant magnetic field and short-range electric potential: definition, resonance-free domains , existence of infinitely many resonances near each Landau level [4]. Main asymptotic term of the resonance counting function near a given Landau level [5]. Extensions to Pauli and Dirac operators [19]. Remark: The program is meant for four lectures of approximately 90 minutes. If necessary, the program could be shortened or extended.

We use a nonperturbative method based on quantum averaging and an adapted from of resonant transformations to treat the resonances of the Hamiltonian of a two-level atom interacting with a one-mode classical field in Floquet formalism. We illustrate this method by extraction of effective Hamiltonians of the system in two regimes of weak and strong coupling. The results obtained in the strong-...
متن کاملAsymptotic analysis for Schrödinger Hamiltonians via Birkhoff-Gustavson normal form
This article reviews the Birkho -Gustavson normal form theorem (BGNF) near an equilibrium point of a quantum Hamiltonian. The BGNF process is thereafter used to investigate the spectrum of Schrödinger operators in the 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 resonances. A computer program is proposed to compute the coe cients of the BGNF up to any order.
متن کاملFixed-Point Hamiltonians in Quantum Mechanics
The basis of the renormalization group invariance of quantum mechanics is given through the concept of fixed-point Hamiltonians. We apply this concept to formulate renormalized Hamiltonians in quantum mechanics, for systems described by interactions that originally contain point-like singularities (as the Dirac-delta and/or its derivatives). The proposed scheme relies on a renormalized form of ...
متن کاملTime-Dependent Real-Space Renormalization Group Method
In this paper, using the tight-binding model, we extend the real-space renormalization group method to time-dependent Hamiltonians. We drive the time-dependent recursion relations for the renormalized tight-binding Hamiltonian by decimating selective sites of lattice iteratively. The formalism is then used for the calculation of the local density of electronic states for a one dimensional quant...
متن کاملDynamical Resonances and Ssf Singularities for a Magnetic Schrödinger Operator
We consider the Hamiltonian H of a 3D spinless non-relativistic quantum particle subject to parallel constant magnetic and non-constant electric field. The operator H has infinitely many eigenvalues of infinite multiplicity embedded in its continuous spectrum. We perturb H by appropriate scalar potentials V and investigate the transformation of these embedded eigenvalues into resonances. First,...
